Merger with Bethabara[edit]

Old Town and Bethabara are one and the same place. Just two names. Bethabara was the original name, fell into disuse once the town began to dwindle, thus the name Old Town was adopted and the post office changed its name in 1835 from Bethabara to Old Town. I think we should merge these two entries together and develop a fuller article on the one location. Most locals refer to the neighborhood as Old Town so I suggest a consolidated article under the name Old Town that includes a great history section on the Bethabara days and mentions the current park and preserved buildings and all as well as being a currently "annexed place" in NC. Thoughts? -- Naytchrboy 17:38, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
