A fact from Operation Broken Trust appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 21 December 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
No he wasn't. First off, court documents (i.e. this) are not suitable sources for WP - find a newspaper or other reliable source that reports it, like the FBI or the Sacramento Bee.
Second, the court document used to support his release[1] doesn't do that. It's, as far as I can see, talking about his bail conditions. Certainly it's trumped by news reports that he's in jail (for 30 years). Bromley86 (talk) 20:39, 20 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
