Metal scavengers[edit]

I shortened the section about metal scavengers. It previously mentioned several commercial products. This was in the article for several years, so it is not clear whether these specific products are even manufactured. There may be better ones now. However, the article cannot list even the most popular metal scavengers unless it also lists, for example, the main suppliers of phosphines and carbene ligands for palladium cross-coupling reactions. The products are interesting and important, but rules for promotional uses of Wikipedia are strict. See WP:PROMO. Roches (talk) 16:35, 14 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Merge proposal[edit]

The present article does not contain content that is particularly distinct from Coupling reaction. So I propose to merge it back into that article. There is little unique information. Then I was going to propose that we split off cross coupling reaction.--Smokefoot (talk) 21:44, 21 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
