Unfortunately, the dates of birth in the Start Book of the 2022 World Championsship cannot be trusted. For many athletes the month and day are reversed. I think that is also the case with Pei Xinyi. According to this Chinese article, Pei was born in January. Therefore January 10th 2005 is probably correct. Swotty22 (talk) 14:13, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, it's a problem with many weightlifter profiles - her profile also mentions January: https://iwf.sport/weightlifting_/athletes-bios/?athlete=&id=19181. It's possibly January but should we perhaps list only her birth year for now? That seems better than deciding what birth date is probably correct. Simeon (talk) 20:52, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
