Dumas[edit]

I have removed the inappropriate "citation needed" on the sentence about Dumas. One cannot require a stronger citation for a statement about the contents of a work of fiction than the work itself. If someone wishes to tag the previous paragraph as uncited, that would be valid. If someone wishes to argue whether the value of the pistole in a work of fiction is relevant, fine: since more people know the fiction than know the history, I would argue that what Dumas thought its value was is relevant.
