Comparison of BSD ports systems[edit]

I'm missing info about relation and comparison of FreeBSD/OpenBSD ports tree & packages to pkgsrc. 158.193.139.103 15:22, 8 November 2005 (UTC)

There is comparison table on FreeBSD's Ports ToDo list. It lists pkgsrc as well. 95.24.86.242 (talk) 14:52, 7 July 2009 (UTC)

A section about the future improvements to pkgsrc must be added, any candidate? 87.223.129.134 13:04, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

How can I improve this?[edit]

What does an article like this need content-wise in order to remove its stub status? -- Qeek (talk) 11:24, 15 April 2013 (UTC)

See WP:STUB for the criteria used to determine if an article is a stub. I'd say this one is now more than a stub. Regards, Letdorf (talk) 18:56, 15 April 2013 (UTC).

Dragonfly to move away from pkgsrc[edit]

Looks like in the future Dragonfly will move away from pkgsrc to dports - http://lists.dragonflybsd.org/pipermail/kernel/2013-September/062975.html .
