"gettext catalog editor"[edit]

i can't find the word "catalog" in the gettext article. What's that?

it is a ".po" file; a file containing translations -- Viliam Búr 78.141.86.111 (talk) —Preceding comment was added at 17:32, 16 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

notability response[edit]

But for this page I might not have found this project or tool.

What is the cost of such a page to wp searches?

The page is notable for serving to link programmers across cultures ( an issue of concern to multi-lingual/polyglot programmers using wikis and less-than-dominant programming paradigms, frameworks, languages.)

I believe that I would be enven less likely to find this page at fr.wikipedia.org or de.wikipedia.org based on "notability".

Q: would an encyclopedia have included mention of Ward Cunningham's c2.com wikiwiki ? His framework was not written in COBOL, Fortran, Pascal, SNOBOL or C.

An important framework that might be considered not notable might be HotDraw itself (without which wp itself might not exist as we know it due to the impact of HD on other work on patterns and objects) G.
