I'm creating this page thinking that it will serve as a useful index to the poems of Edgar Allan Poe. My hope is that I can (or others can) create full articles for the poems that merit them (without overdoing it) and leave the rest a part of this basic overview. As I try to flesh out these entries a bit, I'll be adding more references. In the meantime, however, most of this information comes from Dawn Sova's book Edgar Allan Poe: A to Z, listed under the references section without page numbers. Her book is an alphabetical listing of topics related to Poe and is very inclusive, so most of his works (including the poems in this article) have a listing there. Article for every poem

Or, we could just continue to use Poems by Edgar Allan Poe. If we had an article for each poem, we would have a lot of stubs that would never grow. --Midnightdreary (talk) 23:41, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
