Oh yeah. Missed that one.[4] It looks like boroughs incorporated after a county force was established, and particularly after the LGA 1888 were less likely to bother establishing a police force. Lozleader 20:52, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That makes sense. Some counties seem to have been quite reluctant to form forces, so small boroughs that wanted any form of police force would have formed their own in c. 19th. Morwen - Talk 21:28, 10 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
