Social Work[edit]

Poonam Maadam founded H R Maadam Trust in memory of her late father in 2008 to work in the field of health, education, sports and culture. The trust undertakes health check-up camps, blood donation camps and distribution of aids to Divyangs, etc. She has been supporting folk cultural programs and sports tournaments. Gau Seva Sarwar Kendra runs with veterinary doctors for cows and animals of rural areas.

During the Covid-19 pandemic, she stood with people by ensuring food distribution among vulnerable people and the safe return of migrant laborers from the district. She was involved in vaccination drive since the beginning and Jamnagar was leading districts in terms of percentage of vaccinated people in May -2021.
