More bio details, please.[edit]

Where is this person from? We need more biographical details. What makes him more notable than any number of professors of physics anywhere? Badagnani 04:17, 26 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Well, it says here that he was "recently" awarded the Humboldt Prize. I haven't been able to confirm this. I do see some papers that he wrote with support from the Foundation, but I don't think that's the same thing. I'm not really sure what "The Humboldt Prize" is - their webpage talks a lot about fellowships and such, but I didn't see anything about "The Humboldt Prize" in the sense of a lump sum that is awarded for one's general contributions.
We really need some physics experts to assess his contributions to the field. I don't know enough to tell whether he's notable or not. I've asked for help on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Physics. Tualha (Talk) 00:49, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Templates[edit]

I removed the expand and orphan templates again. The expand template states as it's purpose:

Template purpose:
  • Notification to editors that an article does not sufficiently cover the topic, yet the article is not considered a stub.

This article is a stub, and so that template should not be used.

I removed the orphan template because there are 4 articles which link to this page, and so it doesn't really seem orphaned anymore. --Starwed 08:44, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. An article(especially on of this specificity) can only link so many places.--Cronholm144 08:52, 18 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wow![edit]

This article has come a long way in only five days! Three cheers for the contributors! Tualha (Talk) 15:09, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
