Still open[edit]

Ray's is not closed. They had a landlord dispute and moved directly across the street. I ate there just a few days ago. The "closed" "locations" were Ray's Hell and Ray's Too (the expansion next door). At each door location, for some reason, they apparently form a new company name, even if the kitchens are shared. Maybe has to do with (i.e. alcohol) licensing. They own a number of other "Ray" themed (non-burger) restaurants and have been around a long time. The new location is bigger than previous two locations combined, and you walk across the street to find it. It's called Ray's To The Third. The unsourced rumor that Ray's closed is a prevarication that was manufactured for political fodder. If anyone had bothered to go to the restaurant's web page you would find the information that they are not really closed at all. It's the same damn restaurant, just like the first two (which was really just one, anyway). I eat there all the time and was there when Obama came with the Russians. Ate there to check out the new location a little while back. I'm going to eat there again tomorrow. Original research!

Btw, the media is reporting the Wikipedia page as true fact. What a fucking great job of someone astroturfing.

Yes, it is open[edit]

I am eating a take-out Ray's burger now. What was said above is true. I'd like to fix the article but I'm not sure if this (Yelp.com) is a good enough source. The server-person assured me that it is the same kitchen staff. Perhaps I can tag this as "needs update".
