Any chance of some edit summaries to help non-involved editors make sense of the current cycle of post/revert on this article? --Old Moonraker (talk) 11:54, 3 March 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like a new user SamHumphrey1985 (talk · contribs) made some quite sweeping changes which added some info but removed others. Orphan Wiki (talk · contribs) reverted back. I've tried to merge the two versions but might not have got everything right.--Salix (talk): 12:52, 3 March 2010 (UTC)

Problems with the SamHumphrey1985 version.
- The first sentence goes against the normally practice, falling foul of Wikipedia:Avoid peacock terms. Having a more descriptive lead and giving the times credit later avoid this.
- The bibliography misses some of the publisher information which is helpful for locating the works
- You have missed off the references in the Portraits of Mabey section.
- Some articles are missing from the bibliogaphy.
- Some minor formatting problems.
