Robert L. Simpson (film editor)Robert Simpson (film editor) – Nearly 11 years ago, in July 2009, the main title header was unilaterally moved from Robert Simpson (film editor) to Robert L. Simpson (film editor) with the edit summary, "Professional name used throughout his career". However, as depicted within his entry in American Film Institute Catalog, he was billed as "Robert L." in only 2 out of his 106 credits. The remaining credits indicate his name as "Robert". The main header should be restored to its original form. — Roman Spinner (talkcontribs) 00:12, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Support, probably a non-controversial move unless there are many film editors named Robert Simpson competing (in a single-shot) for the title. Randy Kryn (talk) 03:37, 27 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
