A concern has been raised about notability of the Rock the Slut campaign. A google search of news articles about the campaign netted ten news articles written in 2012 including: NY Daily News; Politico; HuffPo; Bust Magazine; Jezebel; The Daily Caller; Black America; Time; ABC; and India Times. Other articles are also archived in News Bank, and there are apparently dozens of blogs that have discussed the campaign, Emry, and her book. The website for the campaign has apparently been taken offline--an error message (7-7-18) makes me wonder if the site has possibly been vandalized? The Time article said that there were 3000 people who liked the Facebook page when the article was written in 2012; now there are nearly 90,000 people who follow the Facebook site. This campaign is part of an overall reclamation project of the word slut, e.g. Slut Walks. I believe that the new article is therefore about a notable topic.AnaSoc (talk) 23:37, 8 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
