Rockland is a town
[edit]Rockland is a town. Just because it is part of the City of Clarence-Rockland doesn't mean it is just a community. There is more to places than the incorporated ones.
In fact, unincorporated communities are more important than their respective municipalities because a municipality can't exist without a community, but a community can exist without a municipality.
If someone from Toronto was to ask someone from Rockland where they are from, the person from Rockland wouldn't say, "I'm from Clarence-Rockland" (the name of the municipality) they would say "I'm from Rockland" (the name of the community). --216.106.103.82 16:06, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
- I agree, this statement should be corrected, and wikilinked. if it is an unicorporated community, it needs to be clarified. what is it? FoCuSandLeArN (talk) 14:02, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
Plagued by alcoholism and suicide?
[edit]That definitely needs corroboration ... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sigma57b (talk • contribs) 02:49, 23 December 2008 (UTC)
A dry community?

- Agreed. Also, the source provided is from Statscan and shows a population growth of more than 7% between 2001 to 2006 and states nothing regarding 2009. — Dorvaq (talk) 22:28, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
