About Copyvio[edit]

I don't understand the assignment of copyvio for the most important point that it is from a federal government source, which is not copyrighted material as far as I was aware. Please help me understand where this is in error. Theflyer 18:18, 28 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

In fact, the disclaimer of the referenced web site clearly states that the information is in the public domain and Wikipedia:Copyright_FAQ#Public_domain also documents that Federal Government information is generally public domain. Since, I was the original author of what is being contested as copyvio, I would prefer if others agree with my position here that someone else revert the edits. Please do not merge this copyvio article with another article[edit]
