Dalton Gang[edit]

There's no proof that Winnall Dalton was a member of this gang. Here are the only 4 members of the gang, and no one was named Winnall. I think this information is wrong. Please take care of this ASAP. --Snakeyes sv 06:31, 8 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Roque claimed such descent but it was not true. Winnall Dalton was the son of Winnall Dalton Sr and grandson of Henry (Enrique) Dalton, an Englishman who settled in Los Angeles when it was still under Mexican rule.Sylvain1972 (talk) 21:46, 6 January 2020 (UTC)[reply]

bias[edit]

this page sounds extremely biased. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.230.234.79 (talk) 03:50, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed. Dalton is important as a writer, but much more is said about his politics. (I removed a big chunk of political history that didn't even mention Dalton.) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.188.235.4 (talk) 04:59, 18 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. Someone needs to put an NPOV tag on this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by NeoAdamite (talkcontribs) 02:59, 20 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

English sources[edit]

I've found a number of Spanish resources talking about Roque Dalton, but it's been hard to find English sources on him. If anyone is aware of any, adding them would be a big contribution to the article. --Bitsandwidgets (talk) 04:42, 4 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Roque Dalton not was impression[edit]

Not was a convicted or arrested by El Salvador of America government, there is not police's record. That's story is fake, his ideas not was Marxism politic, he thought like a high class, that was the reason of his murder, the rest of the revolting terrorist decided killed him. Timeline clarification request[edit]

In the intro to Dalton's bio, it says: "After leaving Cuba, Dalton became involved in El Salvador's civil war, joining the People's Revolutionary Army (ERP) in 1973." The link to the article Salvadorian Civil War has that conflict running from 1979 - 1992, i.e. starting over 5 years after Dalton's death. Can someone clarify / correct this?
