Sarfaraz Ahmed was born on 22 May 1987 in Karachi, Pakistan to business family. They have a business of educational printing press in Karachi.[9] His mother, Akeela Shakil, has an ancestry from Uttar Pradesh, India and his father died in 2007.[9] His maternal and paternal family still lives in India UP.
