Generally Scout Bands and Scout Groups have not been considered notable and have been merged into articles on the Scout County in the UK. This has not happened here because the article on the Scout County of West Mercia was never written. All Scout County articles are being merged into articles on Scouting in the government regions. The appropriate article is now this article on Scouting in West Midlands. It should be merged in the section headed "West Mercia Scout County". Please give you comments below. --Bduke (talk) 01:42, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have done the merge. --Bduke (Discussion) 03:49, 20 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

General discussion on these region Scouting pages

[edit]

There has been a discussion at Talk:Scouting in South West England#Not a satisfactory article that could equally apply to this article and all other 11 region articles in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. I have moved the discussion to Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Scouting#Scouting in the regions of England. Please take a look. --Bduke (Discussion) 11:34, 22 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
