It makes no sense to ask for clarification on "world-writable". In the scope of this article it should be assumed that a reader has knowledge of unix permission handling. The permissions on /dev/shm are only relevant as it is a security risk and different from classic shared memory segments which will normally have a owning process (and user). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.135.62.109 (talk) 15:51, 26 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
