Images[edit]

I would prefer to see an image of Sherab Palden unflanked by dharma peacock luvvies. There's a tremendous Flickr at http://www.flickr.com/photos/ommane/308568165/ but it's not licensed to the Wiki Commons and I can't find contact details for the photographer to ask permission for a change of copyright. Equally there should be at least one image of Sherab Palden's thangkas. Given that his monastery has made a handsome living selling reproductions of them these past 40 + years you would have thought some concessions might now be made. One might add also given his unsparing commitment to training Western students one of them might provide a more comprehensive and adequately sourced bio and appreciation than that offered here. An elaboration of the training he undertook as a thangka artist in Tibet would be especially welcome. Rinpoche (talk) 14:25, 30 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
