Cooperative Interdependent candidate[edit]

There's been some back-and-forth editing about 2015 candidate Jacob Kearey-Moreland, so I thought I would open it up for discussion. This candidate is apparently running under the "Cooperative Interdependent" banner, with Elections Canada not recognizing said party and treats them as "not affiliated". I have changed it to "not affiliated", but should we allow unregistered parties to use their banners? IMHO I don't think we should, but what do you think? In the very least there should be a citation. If a candidate is considered "not affiliated" by Elections Canada, than that means the candidate attempted to file under a party that Elections Canada does not recognize. -- Earl Andrew - talk 22:45, 31 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I have seen us do it before, I forget which page but there was one that listed the candidate as "N/A (Communist League)". Or perhaps a footnote? "Not affiliated[Note 1]. FUNgus guy (talk) 20:32, 1 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I've seen it before too. I'm not opposed to it, as long as there is a citation. -- Earl Andrew - talk 11:35, 2 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so what's the decision?
Option 1: Not affiliated
Option 2: Cooperative Interdependent
Option 3: Not affiliated (Cooperative Interdependent)
Option 3B: N/A (Cooperative Interdependent)
Option 4: Footnote
Option 5: Your idea here
I still vote for option 1. FUNgus guy (talk) 04:14, 7 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
