Question about text[edit]

The text that says this has some confusion:

It's the Irish form of address to a priest, equivalent to 'Father'. He is usually referred to as 'Dineen' in English language texts, and per Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Ireland-related articles#Naming people, the Irish form should not be used here.
