I dont understand, Why someone is trying to take an exclusive control over this page?

He removed all other company's homepage links & highlighted only one company's hyperlink.

Why cheap advertising on WikiPedia for that company?

might get deleted[edit]

All the "software companies in XXX" articles might get deleted. A few of them are being AfD ed now successfully. so consensus is moving against such articles. (mostly because this reads like a directory). To avoid deletion, i suggest the article to be converted to a "Economy of Madurai" article and reduce the list/directory feel. The addition of smaller companies - which do not qualify for their own articles should be avoided. That is the main reason it violates WP:NOTDIRECTORY--Sodabottle (talk) 08:28, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Is Software companies in Madurai in that list or nominated for deletion? Wasifwasif (talk) 09:52, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It is not now. But other lists (like India and other cities) are being included one by one. As is the practice, everything wont be AfDed at once (to prevent swamping of the AfD system). But once consensus is established that software companies in XXX should be deleted, someone will work their way down.--Sodabottle (talk) 09:56, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Then, we can move. but not with the list of these may companies. Can move this to a new article "List of.......". Wasifwasif (talk) 14:15, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"List of " are also getting deleted. Better go to a generic topic like "Economy of Madurai" along the lines of Economy of Chennai.--Sodabottle (talk) 14:19, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
There is a sub heading "Economy" in the Madurai article which clearly deals with all markets. The need was for a seperate page for IT/ITES industry and its potential for growth in madurai. Wasifwasif (talk) 14:31, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay then change to "software industry in Madurai" or something like that (anything without "companies" in the header).--Sodabottle (talk) 14:41, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Wasifwasif adds "Alfa" & "AJ" software company names again and again? Is he working or running those companies? HoneyWell is the only true MNC in Madurai. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 122.174.84.60 (talk) 19:46, 28 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
@Anonymous. Next to Honeywell which is an MNC, these two firms and DCI are notable in madurai with headcounts 100+ which is a great umber in madurai as far as It industry is concerned. And i am least bothered about your childish comment that i am getting money from that companies considering my cntributions to wikipedia. Wasif (talk) 14:18, 3 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
