Untitled[edit]

Hello I add that whoever edited the article and added a link to Sonja cover page of Screen Goddess has not got their facts accurate. That is NOT Sonja Bernhardt.

It is another Sonja (Sonja Breeze) in the IT Industry - Sonja Bernhardt was the innovator of the Screen Goddess Calendar but was not a role model in it. That is inaccurate and needs to be corrected.

I also ask WHY when within Australia Pia Waugh (a wikipedia page entry) is an acceptable entry and Sonja who is within that country as notable as Pia and content is written in a like style considered for deletion.

The content is NOT a CV (and barely gives any work information) it is ALL about industry VOLUNTARY activity that is and has been making a difference to the industry.

I also flag within Australia AWISE and WiT are equivilant to ABI and WITI in America and Sonja equates to Anita Borg and Carolyn Leighton 'fame' in her home country. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 58.105.232.163 (talkcontribs) But we can assume it is Sonjabern.

My apologies for linking to an image of a different Sonja - if you had bothered to provide an image of yourself here, it would have discouraged me from linking. If you had bothered to learn a bit about Wikipedia, you would not write "a wikipedia page entry" (above); you would simply create the link thus: Pia Waugh. So why don't you contact Thayvian, who contributed heavily to the Pia article and who patently has no COI, and ask them whether they think you are notable.
Have you read WP:AUTO? And what is your relationship to user:Roarc? - Sgroupace (talk) 21:16, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
hey thanks for getting back to me. Thayvian is obviously a LINUX supporter hence the Pia connection - ps Linux Chix is a member of one of my organisation AWISE, and Pia knows me - I have given her a few opportunities in the Australian IT world over the past few years! maybe Thayvian and yourself can ask Pia what she thinks about my notable contributions to Australian and now the world IT and specifically women and IT situation. Sure easy to add a picture but in a world of excecution not sure if I'll be deleted or not wasn't sure of the effort versus the value. AND besides I didn't think a picture was relevant or value adding.Sonjabern (talk) 11:26, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
re: roarc - is not me - although he thinks I am notable:-) He is using my company IP to make edits.Sonjabern (talk) 11:26, 3 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hello Sgroupace, I am new to Wikipedia so pardon any ignorance on my part, there's a lot to learn. I am aware of WP:AUTO and those guidelines seem sensible to me (everyone is the hero of their own story, as Dylan Hunt once said) but I think I have added sufficient external sources to make the facts of the case objective. There are few claims there which while true might benefit from verification links and I hope to get around to those in due course in between everything else I'm trying to do. - Roarc (talk) 00:49, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 00:50, 26 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
