This will be a tough one to research. According to Gayle Wald (speaking at the 2008 Pop Conference at Experience Music Project), the rights to all of the episodes are tied up legally to the point where it is apparently nearly impossible for them to be generally released until copyright expires in several more decades. I've asked Gayle if she would consider contributing to this article from her own archival research in one of the few available archives of the program. - Jmabel | Talk 19:34, 20 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pioneering[edit]

You might like to add that piece of information about why information is hard to come by if you can reference it in her speech, for example. That would expand the article. Also if you can name shows Soul! influenced and a note about how it got its name (as in being in use for certain reasons as a signifier: music use, or relating to African American language etc), you will have some more content.
