active project?[edit]

I think the designation of Spambayes as "active" should be changed to something else. It's not totally inactive or dead, but it's definitely not "alive" :) . There hasn't been a new non-beta release in years, there are no dates on any of their project webpages indicating anything has changed significantly in years. Their sourceforge statistics show the "average age" of bug reports to be in excess of 800 days. 74.103.98.163 14:36, 31 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree that there haven't been as many major releases of SpamBayes as many would like, but the download page shows packages put out only about a month ago. That would keep this software in the Active camp for me.

Dead or alive, it really works well! - Compusolver (talk) 21:09, 6 March 2008 (UTC)CompuSolver[reply]

It's now been a year since the last update, and seems to have issues with outlook 2007. Although it should still be covered, it is worth mentioning that they have been lax about releasing. 15.203.249.124 (talk) 15:29, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. I changed the Infobox to Unmaintained. NipponBill (talk) 02:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
