Not so. None of the St. Augustine churches in Europe are Catholic. They are Anglican, Church of England or Episcopal. None of the European churches are on the National Register and only 3 of the American ones are. All the American ones I happened to look at were both Catholic and on the NRHP. Maybe they should be moved to the page with Catholic churches. It's not clear to me who decides on the name; "St. Augustine Catholic Church of New Orleans" was called that on its website; the short version it had was "St. Augustine Catholic Church", but someone had already created an article as "St. Augustine Church (New Orleans)", so who knows?--Parkwells (talk) 17:28, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It was not a blind revert. When I read the MOS:DAB standards, I saw that it noted a red linked dab item could be kept for a future article, if there was an expectation one would be done (they used an example of a red link "style", of architectural ornament), and if there was another link to the proposed article. St. Augustine Catholic Church in Natchez, Louisiana has been listed as one of 26 sites on the state's Louisiana African American Heritage Trail. It is listed within that article. I was trying to identify why there was likely to be a future article, as it has a 200-year history as a church founded by free people of color.--Parkwells (talk) 21:29, 11 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Hey, could we lower the tone here? I wasn't trying to attack or insult you, and many of us are still learning the ins and outs of the MOS preferences. Because of working on an article in which two St. Augustine Churches in LA were identified on a state heritage trail, I was trying to mark them both on the disamb pages for other people's knowledge. That's not a great offense. I was trying to create a red link that would work on the DAB page as well as on the Louisiana African American Heritage Trail page. Yes, the Natchez church article could be written first. That was not what I was working on then.
