Requested move[edit]

The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposal. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the debate was move. When there are only two articles, they can often just have disambiguation links at the top of the articles and when they are spelled differently like in this case, that solution is ideal. -- Kjkolb 03:18, 27 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Starfox (comics)Starfox – On 17 August this was listed on requested moves with the comment "Rationale:The Parentheses are not needed." Nothing was mentioned on the actual pages. Beardo 08:36, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Survey[edit]

Add "* Support" or "* Oppose" followed by an optional one-sentence explanation, then sign your opinion with ~~~~

  • Oppose - For the longest time I thought Star Fox was in fact Starfox, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. Therefore a disambig page for Starfox is a lot more logical than making it a redirect to Starfox (comics).

Fair use rationale for Image:StarfoxEros.jpg[edit]

Image:StarfoxEros.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

WikiProject Comics B-Class Assesment required[edit]

This article needs the B-Class checklist filled in to remain a B-Class article for the Comics WikiProject. If the checklist is not filled in by 7th August this article will be re-assessed as C-Class. The checklist should be filled out referencing the guidance given at Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Assessment/B-Class criteria. For further details please contact the Comics WikiProject. The Assault Section[edit]

The assault section is very confusing. The end part is indicating that Starfox did use his powers unethically once in a while only because he was mentally ill due to the influence of his brother Thanos. Yet...earlier in the section it seems to indicate that Starfox was fully aware he was purposely screwing around with women's minds. Normally, I wouldn't care so much about discrepencies like this, yet to say that Starfox ran around making women do what they would not like to do would say that -real- authors wrote stories of a rapist flying around the Marvel Universe. It gets into a HUGE grey area and since it involves real people Wikipedia policy has a 'better safe then sorry' point of view. Lots42 (talk) 09:55, 30 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

So Thanos is responsible for Starfox absuing his mental powers? Lots42 (talk) 04:16, 19 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"limited mastery"?[edit]

How would he have limited mastery of 500 languages... that seems somewhat oxymoronic. 104.186.132.216 (talk) 23:20, 4 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Can we please change the main image?[edit]

Can we please change the main image of the article to one that doesn't degrade She-Hulk?86.130.32.193 (talk) 00:17, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
