Thomas Wesley Turnley[edit]

Was a solicitor (for the Bedford and Cambridge Railway - see The Railway Age in Bedfordshire F. G. Cockman, 1974 ISBN 0851550355) and land tax commissioner for Bedford. Admitted Queens Bench, Hilary term 1838. He was also under-sheriff for Bedfordshire 1868. I believe he was born in Lambeth.
