Merger proposal[edit]

There is no need for a separate article on a such specific thing as Strategic Bombardment in the Kosovo War. It can not be understood alone, but only in the context of NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. Vanjagenije (talk) 11:56, 24 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Support the merger proposal. Please go on. --Dans (talk) 09:09, 3 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Merger would be inappropriate. This article relates to the Kosovo War's place in strategic bombardment theory which has been a major area of academic debate since Douhet in the early 20th century. By comparison '1999 NATO bombing of Yugoslavia' is a description of the NATO bombing campaign's events which ought to viewed separately. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Greekfire10 (talkcontribs) 22:34, 6 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would probably support a merger with "Strategic Aviation," but certainly not with NATO bombing or anything else to do with the Yugoslav war. I second Greekfire10: this is a question dealing with air power in itself, not with the particular conflict as such. Terry J. Carter (talk) 00:43, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Support, merge with Strategic Aviation not Yugoslav war though. This article is about applications of Strategic Aviation, not the bombing of Yugoslavia99.236.221.124 (talk) 22:13, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Support, better a good article that the same think in separate pieces. --Sulmues Let's talk 15:38, 28 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
