Contesting deletion[edit]

I know I'm the one that added the hang-on tag, when the article was actually created by someone else, but how does this article fit CSD A7? It is well sourced and it was nominated for an award recently. Minima c (talk) 20:49, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That is a claim of notability, however, so I'm declining the A7 nomination. I would not say that this is well-sourced, however; it's just sourced. It needs major work as well. Failing WP:WEB may be a good reason for PROD or AFD, however. Airplaneman ✈ 20:51, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The comic has been published. It's being sold on Amazon right now. I don't know if that makes a difference in whether it is notable or not. This was my first article so I was having a hard time figuring out what all to put in there. Twethereal (talk) 21:05, 1 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I'm the author of The Dreamer. It has won awards--online awards, but also the 2010 S.P.A.C.E. Prize (Small Press and Alternative Comics Expo). http://www.backporchcomics.com/space.htm It's been featured in Wizard Magazine (Issue 214), American Spirit Magazine (The official magazine of the DAR, March/April 2007 issue), VOYA, Publisher's Weekly, School Library Journal, The Pittsburg Tribune Review (http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/news/westmoreland/s_600734.html), The Other Paper (http://www.theotherpaper.com/articles/2009/07/01/arts/doc4a4bd6799ce90149022236.txt), (614) Magazine (http://614columbus.com/magazine/11-01-2010/march-of-the-comic-book-heroes), Comics Buyers Guide(#1634) and a bunch of other online sources.
