Intro and plot

I have written an introduction and plot summary for this amazing film. Although it came out in the early '80s it is still as good now as it was then when I first watched it. Ivankinsman (talk) 17:30, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

I edited one sentence of the plot summary. The last sentence of the second paragraph under "plot" originally read "It transpires that she wrote an article on the Suez Crisis and wants to seduce the daughter by befriending the mother." Since two women are mentioned previously, it's not clear from that sentence (as originally written) which one is the antecedent for "she." And since those two women are the daughter and the mother, then the rest of the sentence implies either that the daughter seduced herself by befriending her mother, or that the mother seduced her daughter by befriending herself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Crassiodorus (talk • contribs) 01:08, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
