Got a reply as follows: "I don't mind you using the text David but as always we do ask that you link back to us as the origional source of the article. We are mainly an historical site about Scotland, Scots and people and places of Scots descent." The GFDL (section 4-J) requires that any such links are preserved whenever the text is modified. I've started some of the WIkifying, but I haven't got the heart to delete most of this beautiful prose, it does, however, badly need just that. I'll leave that to someone else however and stick to my wiki links. --(BojiDebater 03:50, 1 September 2005 (UTC))[reply]
