– There are two articles for two different individuals named Thomas Oxley. This subject seems to be more significant than the other Thomas Oxley (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Oxley). Should this article have the official title of "Thomas Oxley" and the other article be "Thomas Oxley (Surgeon of the Straits Settlement)"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Abridgelv123 (talkcontribs) 16:03, 19 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Move to Thomas Oxley (neurologist) and Thomas Oxley (British surgeon). No primary topic. The neurologist also appears to be a qualified surgeon, so the national identifier for the latter is necessary, but the proposed disambiguator is unnecessarily verbose. The current disambiguator for the former is poor, as he certainly isn't a Mount Sinai Hospital! -- Necrothesp (talk) 09:53, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support this alternative. 162 etc. (talk) 19:19, 22 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Support Necrothesp variation. — BarrelProof (talk) 12:56, 23 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
