Picture

I think a different picture needs to be put in here instead of Patchy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.98.174.67 (talk) 01:17, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

Handy Manny?

I believe that I read that he also does the voice for the hammer (Pat) in Handy Manny. I'm not sure about the year(s), but I think it should be added to his filmography. --Gleezus 17:08, 13 November 2006 (UTC)

Tom & Jill met LONG before Mr. Show

because they both co-starred on Dave Mirkin's sketch comedy show at FOX The Edge in the 1992-1993 season, which pre-dates Mr. Show in 1995. I'll bet they even knew each other before then. I haven't seen Tom in town for a while, but I'll be sure and ask him when I do. The bio info is incorrectly stating that they met during Mr. Show and married, yadda yadda... needs to be fixed :) MrEguy 19:47, 10 December 2006 (UTC)

Article cleanup

A great majority of this article needs grammatical and factual altercations. For instance: He likes cookies in the trivia section is irrelevent. I will take it upon myself to try and improve the article. Lucastheory 11:13, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

personal information table

I have re-created the personal information table to reflect a more professional and appealing aesthetic character. Other than that, I decided to remove some less than relevent information in the 'trivia' section, as well re-wording some sentences. If anyone with more skill than I can put in the appropriate pronouns it would be much appreciated. Lucastheory 14:46, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

Chuckie

Didn't Tom voice Chukie in Seed of Chukie or am I thinking of someone else? --Coconutfred73 01:14, 31 October 2007 (UTC)

Archiving

I set up archiving on this talk page due to some very outdated comments.   jj137 (talk) 18:21, 12 February 2008 (UTC)

Reference 4

Reference 4 does not actually link to a Q&A with Joe Murray, it links to a constantly-updating news page which at one point probably had the Joe Murray interview on it.

Wow-Wee Tri-bot

Tom Kenny appears to be the voice of Wow-Wee's Tri-bot toy. If so, this should be added. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.107.0.73 (talk) 18:33, 31 October 2008 (UTC)

Tom's voice change

Does anyone know what contributed to the change in quality of Tom's voice between Seasons 3 and 4 of SpongeBob? There is a noticeable difference from around the time of the SpongeBob Movie onwards, which he has managed to mostly correct in Season 5 and 6 episodes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Pete3194 (talkcontribs) 14:33, 8 February 2009 (UTC)

Transformers 2 Controversy

I think the controversy surrounding Kenny's contributions to the new Transformers movie deserves mention. Kenny's voice performance as the robot "Skids" received significant negative attention, with a number of critics going so far as to accuse the character (and his twin brother "Mudflap") of being minstrel-show stereotypes of African-Americans. The film's director Michael Bay largely credited Kenny (and fellow actor Reno Wilson) with creating the characters, asserting that they were largely improvised in the recording sessions. Kenny declined to comment. This Associated Press article may be presented as citation: Jive-talking twin Transformers raise race issues76.90.175.151 (talk) 01:40, 15 July 2009 (UTC)Frank

Tom Kenny Arrested?

Where on the internet is this posted? I can't find any information on this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.32.87.2 (talk) 02:24, 22 May 2010 (UTC)

Possible Death

I see all over the internet reports of his death, just want to know if it's true or not. 70.160.66.184 (talk) 00:55, 30 October 2010 (UTC)

A simple search of the Internet shows he is still alive. I first saw the rumors on Twitter so apparently people can type 140 words saying good-bye to someone who isn't dead but can't type "Tom Kenny" into a Google search box. Bhall87Four Scoreand Seven 04:20, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
I've seen several websites stating that Kenny is dead, but I haven't seen a verifiable site confirming his death. So most likely, he's still alive. The UtahraptorTalk/Contribs 14:18, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Discussion

Tom Kenny is the creator of the television shows Spongebob Squarepants: that does not seem to be compatible with what the article on Spongebob Squarepants says. --FvdP 00:26 27 Jun 2003 (UTC)

For the record: What the original contributor actually wrote is "Tom Kenny is the creator of spongebob and patchy the pirate .", by which he/she apparently meant that Tom Kenny plays both those characters. The definite error crept in during a later revision by somebody who mistook the names of the characters for the titles of TV shows (on account of Spongebob Squarepants being the title of the show Spongebob and Patchy the Pirate are from). —Paul A 07:31 27 Jun 2003 (UTC)

Tom Kenny is also the voice of Scooter the Baseball on FOX's baseball coverage.

he was also the voice of Rin the Al Bhed in Final Fantasy X

He was in IGPX (Immortal Gran Prix) as an announcer.

Was Tom Kenny really in Curse of the Were-Rabbit? I can't find anything in IMDB.com... Purple Koopa 05:16, 30 November 2005 (UTC)

I think he was. I remember reading somewhere that he was the voice of something in that movie. -Spaceboy 13:05, 20 May 2007 (EST)

Vice President of 4kids?!?!?

Is it true that Tom is the vice president of 4kids, how degrading is that? A comic genius, being the vice president of the worst and most evil dubbing company on earth! Please tell me this is false! This was found on the 4kids page on this site!

I heard that this Tom Kenny is NOT the VP of 4kids, but rather Tom Kenney, he's a sort of business man! In fact, I was told this by none other than Maddie Blaustein herself at Serebii.net!

Filmography

I removed the "Sonic Riders as additional voices" from Kenny's filmography since the Inernet Movie Database (the source that claims this) is unreliable.

Tom Kenny & Alex Bennett

Just more of a perspective on Tom Kenny. Kenny was a frequent guest on the Alex Bennett show in San Francisco (KITS-FM) in the late 80s and early 90s... He was among many comedians who were regular guests (including Rob Schneider, Bob Goldthwait, George Lopez, Greg Proops, etc.) on the morning show (at least 4-5 times a month). This is before Bennett became a political talkie on satellite radio. dead
