Isn't his name Toronado? User:Zoe|(talk) 04:09, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The current name of the horse is apparently "Toronado". In the earlier works it was "Tornado". In fact, the proper Spanish spelling is "Tornado", but when Guy Williams trilled the "r" it sounded kind of like "Toronado". The English word comes from the Spanish. "Tornado" originally referred to any kind of thunderstorm. Wahkeenah 05:01, 18 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Toronado Breastplate and Bridle

[edit]

I pointed out the breastplate and bridle in the Zorro (1990) and Queen of Swords (2000)tv series were identical, not the same, and since then also in the Alain Delon Zorro film (1975) but one editor because I cannot find it written, only on youtube, think it is not valid and this piece of knowledge should be denied.REVUpminster (talk) 17:20, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

perhaps I should just put the three images with no comment???REVUpminster (talk) 09:26, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name change

[edit]

This was much clearer as Toronado (Zorro's horse). This has just made it another name needing disambiguation.08:17, 3 March 2012 (UTC)

Well, I have no opinion one way or the other, but it will be more elegant to create a dab page, so I will. I think there might be more than one horse with this name, too, will check. Montanabw(talk) 19:20, 3 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Tornado vs Toronado

[edit]

Isn't Tornado the most common name of Zorro's horse? As far as I know, the name was first used in the 1957 series, and it has been the same in most subsequent productions; I think the name Toronado was only used in the 1990 series. If this is true, it would be better to move this page to Tornado (horse) --Newblackwhite (talk) 16:14, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Since there were no objections in more than a day, I'll make the move. --Newblackwhite (talk) 16:14, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
