Coloured Text[edit]

Is there any policy for coloured text in articles - I find quite a bit of this distracting, but I wasn't sure if there had been previous discussions. Tompagenet 13:16, 4 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The coloured text and boxes seem to look more like graphics and logos. I think we should stick to black-against-white for text.Slleong 16:52, 7 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Smart TAG[edit]

When I went to Malaysia at the end of last year, Smart TAG was used at toll plazas as a system enabling the processors to access Touch 'n Go cards inserted into Smart TAG machines into cars without any driver action - it wasn't a separate system as implied in the two articles (this one and the Smart TAG article). Octopus card[edit]

What's that card got to do with this? This article isn't in the "see also" list for Octopus card. Brian Jason Drake 06:52, 22 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Article may be misleading[edit]

The history isn't well documented in the article. From memory, Cityliner buses used TnG for a long time, possibly from the beginning and if not, before Plus started having TnG anyway. Also it doesn't really describe the history relating to toll use. I believe a mandate came down from the government, sometime in 2000 or perhaps even before that all toll operators had to use TnG. Nothing happened for quite a while until 2002 or 2003 or something when they finally began to talk about it again and finally forced all operators to use TnG (I no longer lived in Malaysia by this time) Nil Einne 12:48, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Seems this is still a problem. I've tagged the Cityliner 2000 thing as dubious. I was using it in 1999 on Cityliner buses. I'm sure of this because I was in secondary school in 1999 and distinctly remember the conversations I had about it. It may be it wasn't on all routes or something. I didn't use public buses much so it's possible it wasn't even on all buses for the route but I don't recall wondering if the bus would have Touch'n'go or not. But it was a long time ago. However I'm quite sure of the 1999 thing. Nil Einne (talk) 13:48, 5 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Poor grammar?[edit]

This article seems to be full of grammar mistakes, with missing "the"s, "is"es and a few other small words here and there. Sounds like direct Malay translation, anyone willing to tidy things up? Jason (talk) 15:41, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Rapid KL new bus ticketing system[edit]

Would like to suggest that the article be updated to incorporate this new system

File:TNGcards.jpg nominated for deletion[edit]

Just a heads up that I've nominated File:TNGcards.jpg for deletion for lack of a fair use rationale; deletion can be avoided by addition of a fair use rationale which demonstrates how the image meets our non-free content criteria. Acather96 (talk) 19:19, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

File:TNGcards.jpg Nominated for speedy Deletion[edit]

An image used in this article, File:TNGcards.jpg, has been nominated for speedy deletion for the following reason: Wikipedia files with no non-free use rationale as of 2 November 2011

What should I do?

Don't panic; you should have time to contest the deletion (although please review deletion guidelines before doing so). The best way to contest this form of deletion is by posting on the image talk page.

  • If the image is non-free then you may need to provide a fair use rationale
  • If the image isn't freely licensed and there is no fair use rationale, then it cannot be uploaded or used.
  • If the image has already been deleted you may want to try Deletion Review
