I'm putting some ideas here as a guideline, but there is plenty more to say I'm sure:

Roads

  • Major A roads - A5, A6, etc
  • radial pattern - geog term, about the road shapes, not Grid like MK [3]
  • links to other major towns/cities - well i guess you know about this. use a map if you don't

Rail

  • 3 stations
  • links to rest of country [4]
  • history - try the articles already there.
    • rail line - try again the articles
    • stations - as above

you will have to look hard to find something new. i suggest a summary and link to main article

Air

  • main|london luton airport
  • history [5]
  • budget airlines [6] [7] [8]
  • fame - lorraine chase, etc
  • interesting facts - whatever you can find, i'm (and no one else) is that fussy
  • other stuff, etc, etc

Public Transport

  • about it - buses, who it serves, etc
    • history - i guess you know about this -

Buses

  • history
  • bus company [10] [11]
  • bus routes look it up on arriva
  • anything else important - if there is...

Taxis

  • about - link to taxis in wiki - just summaries it
  • intresting facts - that one of the main article is good, add anything else you can
  • other info -

The Future

  • Citylink/tram thing - look it up
  • M1 expansion
  • east luton corridor work, direct route from motorway to airport
  • other

Sorry the links are sparse, you will have to do most the research yourself, but i know it's all there. I'll do the intro and set up the headings. i'm guessing that you don't need to go into much detail, but give a good summary for everything, and expand where nessecary to improve. treat this almost like a very detail link page for transport in luton. other than that, good luck :) Random articles

Merge?[edit]

This article has been around since February and has less information than the main Luton article. I propose that this article is merged with Luton, deleted, and then if the main article starts getting too big - this article can be recreated.

Given the inactivity I've merged it with Luton adding some other detail, although in the process the section now looks quite big. MickMacNee (talk) 15:34, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
