Untitled[edit]

I was on the Massey from November 1968 till summer of 1970. She made a Med Cruise with the 6th Fleet from May 1969 till Sept or Oct 1969, then was called back. From 1969 until she was decommissioned, she served as a Reserve training ship, homeported in the old Brooklyn Navy Yard.

User:Thewolfchild I don't understand why you have moved the image of Massey from the start of the Namesake section down to halfway. You cite mos:imgloc, but I don't see what in that guide supports your move, indeed in that section the left image of a boy with a Siberian Husky is directly below the Location header. With my layout the Massey image fits completely within the Namesake section, with yours it intrudes into the Construction and Career section which disturbs the layout. I take it you edit WP on a pc? I was editing on my mobile at the time and, following your edit, the text was MOS:SANDWICHed between the image of Massey and the infobox. After seeing your comment, I had a look at the page on my pc and saw what you were referring to, and made some layout changes, using both mobile and pc. The Massey image is now under the infobox, (next to WWII on pc, next to the paragraph starting of with 1942 in the namesake section on mobile, so it works both ways) The images no longer sandwich text or drop into other sections. The layout, with the construction after the lead and the added level-2 "History" header, is now more in line with the layout found on other ship articles. Other than that, the lead could use some expanding and I will work on that soon, but I think for now the immediate problems have hopefully been addressed. Yes on a PC. OK, the new position is fine. Mztourist (talk) 03:07, 17 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
