Minor Note[edit]

I recall hearing that Edward Bernds remarked that it was ironic that he received royalty checks from showings of "Valley of the Dragons" long after some of his bigger films had passed into public domain. It is a minor factoid about a minor film so is probably too trivial to merit a search for a reliable cite. I'll leave it in talk for now. --Naaman Brown (talk) 16:42, 4 December 2014 (UTC) I believe the interviewer was Tom Weaver, but I want to find his book to be sure. Edward Bernds, director: "That film has tremendous vitality on TV--I get checks that surprise me. I also get residuals on the Elvis Presley picture Tickle Me (1965) that Elwood Ullman and I wrote, and it seems to me that "Valley of the Dragons" makes me more money in residuals than "Tickle Me" does!" --Naaman Brown (talk) 02:29, 12 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
