I believe this edit by user:Vic DiCara is made in good faith but it goes against WP:NPOV, WP:CONFLICT and possibly WP:ORIGINAL. A discussion has been opened on the NPOV noticeboard here. Kire1975 (talk) 04:50, 1 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Whereas, Dicara's userpage has been indefinitely blocked from editing, I'd say this matter is resolved but according to the rules of the template consensus on the talk page is needed for removal of the tag. In other words, User:Vic DiCara has proven that he is the same person as hardcore punk guitarist, vocalist and bass guitarist Vic DiCara.

The reason we ask some people to either confirm their identity or change their username is to prevent someone from registering a Wikipedia account with the name of a well-known person and pretending to be that person.
