Tone[edit]

This should read more like an enclyclopedia article and less like its singing the praises of Vidya ben 04:22, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Like an advertisement?[edit]

Somebody has noted that the article has been written like an advertisement and most of the contents has been marked for speedy deletion. Whether the article is 'like an advertisement' or 'a compendium of facts about an institution' is debatable. The article was originally developed by taking articles about similar institutions in India, especially South India, as models. For example, the structure of the article National Institute of Technology Calicut has strongly influenced the writing of the article Vidya Academy of Science and Technology. Another nearly similarly structured article is Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering. So it is suggested that the Wikipedia community members take a closer look at the structure and content of all articles related to educational institutions in India. In the meanwhile, I am afraid whether it is inappropriate, I have undid some of the deletion edits and restored the article to its original form. Another evidence is that from the website of vidya http://vidyaacademy.ac.in/ , ONE CAN SEE A DIRECT LINK TO THIS WIKIPEDIA ARTICLE , at the bottom of the page... I strongly believe that this article is written by vidya college management —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rafiwiki (talkcontribs) 14:34, 26 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
