Kathmandu Birupaksha Statue[edit]

Is there a correlation to the statue of Birupaksha in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal? The statue of Birupaksha in Kathmandu is located in Pashupatinath Temple which is also deducated to Lord Shiva but Birupaksha was a Kirati(Nepalese Ethnicity) man from the Kirata Dynasty(800BC-300AD).

Lord Shiva also has the avatar of a Kirat hunter so Kirat people are quite closely related to Lord Shiva. Kirats live in the Himalayas and so did Lord Shiva.

Thank you. 203.145.95.21 (talk) 15:50, 14 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
