Should this be at WALL-E (character) instead of WALL·E (character) (where it is now) to be consistent with the title of the article on the film (WALL-E, with WALL·E being a redirect)? Dylnuge (TalkEdits) 03:24, 18 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, per WP:COMMONNAME and consistency with the film article. InfiniteNexus (talk) 04:57, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
One thing to take into account first is that WALL-E, for whatever reason, consistently uses the • notation to refer to the character throughout the article. Renaming may nevertheless be the correct move, but it's not quite as straightforward as the two prior comments have suggested and I think we should collectively analyze how sources refer to the character before making a change here. signed, Rosguill talk 13:30, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I support the move and feel like it should simply be "WALL-E" everywhere (other than mentioning the stylization) for simplicity's sake. Maybe it's just me, but I feel like there is no clear way to type the dot, and we should keep it simple. Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 13:39, 21 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

WALL·E (character)WALL-E (character) – Consistent with WALL-E and easier to type. Consensus in this talk page seems to be in favor of the move. Skyshifter talk 22:55, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
