WJDX-FM ditches the '60s[edit]

Since September 1, 105.1 The River has been playing The Greatest Hits of the '70s and '80s.

WJDX-FM now has American Top 40: The '80s[edit]

Since December 29, 2013, 105.1 The River has aired American Top 40: The '80s every Sunday. It's usually aired from 8 am to 12 pm Central Time. But when a New Orleans Saints game is scheduled for a Sunday afternoon, American Top 40: The '80s will be aired from 5 am to 9 am Central Time.

Nearly a year ago, WJDX-FM had made the switch...to ADULT HITS[edit]

In February, 2019--after a little over five years as a classic hits station--WJDX-FM (still branded 105.1 The River) made the switch to what may be adult hits. In addition to '70s and '80s music, I heard music from the '90s, 2000-2009, and even 2010-2014.

But WJDX-FM still concentrates on '80s music. In fact, there is even more '80s music now.

And WJDX-FM still airs American Top 40: The '80s most Sundays. Now, it airs American Top 40: The '80s twice most Sundays (8 am to 12 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm, Central Time).
