- no reasoning was shown to claim the article was written like an advertisement, or not from a neutral POV. Contents revealed comparable to other popular titles like Harry Potter or DC Comic series. Snowybeagle (talk) 03:34, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Agree..
Althought the article itself is looked like advertisement, it isn't. At least for us, Indonesian, it is not. The story has finished a few years ago and you'll hardly find it in Indonesian book store. It's sequel had also finished and now the second sequel are currently being published in Indonesia. I believe in HK, the story had published far than what we had in Indonesia. The names used here differ greatly from those used in the English translation of the comics. Is it appropriate to provide a translation table? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 129.83.31.3 (talk) 20:22, 16 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

How differ the names were?
I read Ma Wing Shing's adaptation of Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre in English and some of their names had significantly changed. I can't understand how can "Cuishan" became "Jay Shan" in english version. I keep wondering how can "Xie xun" converted into "Zhune Shai".
Make no mistake, I'm familiar with at least three ways of romanizing Chinese script. First was Hokkian style, used by Hokkien people in Indonesia. Second, Wade Giles style. And third one, Pinyin. How comicsone publisher converted the name into the English names are still mysterious for me.
Back to the topic, Weapons of the Gods in Indonesia is published on Wade-giles style or at least similar to Wade Giles. Since both Pinyin and Wade-Giles refer to the same pronounciation, it didn't take a long time to recognize the name. The names on the article itself was written on Pinyin and believe me, although I haven't read the english version of the comic, I believe the article have more accurate romanization of the names compared to the English translated comics you read. Cantonese[edit]

Can someone add Cantonese romanizations? Since this is a Hong Kong comic book, Cantonese should be used, instead of only Mandarin. -- 70.51.44.93 (talk) 14:22, 18 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
