Weirsdale Citrus is Dead[edit]
The article overstates the existence of the citrus packing industry in Weirsdale. The last packing warehouse that provided regular seasonal work for almost sixty years closed down less than a year ago. There are now at least three monstrous but derelict warehouses in open view that serve as reminders that the citrus industry that used to fuel Weirsdale is dead.
