This article has been reviewed as part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles/Project quality task force in an effort to ensure all listed Good articles continue to meet the Good article criteria. In reviewing the article, I have found there are some issues that may need to be addressed, listed below. I will check back in seven days. If these issues are addressed, the article will remain listed as a Good article. Otherwise, it may be delisted (such a decision may be challenged through WP:GAR). If improved after it has been delisted, it may be nominated at WP:GAN. Feel free to drop a message on my talk page if you have any questions, and many thanks for all the hard work that has gone into this article thus far.

Lead
  • The lead claims that the shark lives for 70 years, but the Reproduction section claims 100 years.
  • Adjusted reproduction to state 70 and possibly 100. --Stefan talk 06:38, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Naming
  • This section is completely uncited.
  • Can not find any good source for all names, considering removing them ... at least added ref for discovery. --Stefan talk 06:58, 12 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • "It is capable of diving to depths of over 700 metres". The source cited says up to 700 metres, not over 700 metres.
Anatomy and appearance
  • Ref #4 has moved and the url needs to be updated to reflect that. Is it intended that that source covers all of the information in the first paragraph? If so, then the citation should be moved to the end of the paragraph. If not, then the actual source needs to be given. Same applies to the second paragraph. What's the source for the information given in the second half?
  • Fixed the reference, do not have time to source the whole para now, not sure if the given source covers all. --Stefan talk 01:38, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Diet
  • Second paragraph needs to be cited.
  • There has been a request for citation in the third paragraph since March 2007.
Behavior towards divers
  • This section is completely uncited, and has been tagged as such since July.

  • Great work Stefan, that'll do for me, and you've managed to get rid of that ugly tag as well. --Malleus Fatuorum 01:47, 20 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
